New: CAAM, switch between AI coding accounts in 50 ms when you hit a rate limit
You hit the rate limit on your $200/month Claude Max subscription. Browser OAuth takes 30–60 seconds. CAAM (Coding Agent Account Manager) swaps accounts by restoring auth files from a vault, in roughly 50 ms, no browser involved.
- Backup once per account: caam backup claude alice@gmail.com snapshots the auth files into the vault. Repeat for every email you sign in with
- Switch in ~50 ms: caam activate claude alice@gmail.com restores that account's saved auth files from the vault without opening a browser or touching OAuth
- Status by content hash: caam status shows which profile is currently active per tool by matching the live auth files against the vault
- Auto-failover: alias claude='caam run claude --' and the wrapper switches profiles on rate limits. caam activate claude --auto picks the best profile by health, recency and cooldowns, and caam cooldown set parks a limited profile for 60 minutes
- Supports Claude Code, Codex CLI, and Gemini CLI, each of which keeps its OAuth tokens in plain files
